About Genesis Landscaping

Before I go into detail about me and our company history, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for visiting our site. Whether you're in East Meadow, or the surrounding area of Nassau County, Long Islanders have many choices when it comes to hiring a company for their landscaping services. I appreciate your taking the time to consider us for your project. I hope that after looking through our site you'll feel comfortable enough with us to (linky) contact us to schedule an appointment so we can discuss your landscaping ideas.

Genesis Landscaping has been serving the landscape needs of residents of Long Island, New York since 1976. We're a second-generation business, but that doesn't mean we're a large, impersonal company. In fact, we're the opposite. I truly enjoy what I do, and didn't want to grow the company to a size where I spent my days inside an office, shuffling papers. I wanted to be out in the field, meeting our customers, beautifying their properties. With that as my primary goal, when I took the business over from my father, I made the conscious decision to keep the business small. It gives me the opportunity to closely manage the quality of our work and our relationships with our customers. No matter if it's our first meeting or final walk-through, you're going to see the same courteous, professional staff at every step of the process.

To stay current with changing or emerging technologies, and to make sure we're using the landscaping industry's best practices for landscape maintenance and installation, we are involved with several organizations, including:

The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce

East Meadow, NY 11554 - We've been a member since 1985

Nassau Suffolk Landscape Gardeners Association

25 Koral Street Bayshore, New York , 11706

As a member of the NSLGA, I'm part of an organization that strives to elevate the standards of the landscaping industry. This association works to ensure each member is current on the latest technologies, legislation and methodologies for our industry and for Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

The New York State Turfgrass Association

From the NYSTA website: The mission of the New York State Turfgrass Association is to unify, lead and promote professionalism among people interested in the turfgrass industry. We will accomplish this through education and research, while advocating environmentally-responsible management

PLANET (Formerly ALCA and PLCAA)

The Professional Landscare Network (PLANET) is an international association that serves landscape maintenance and design/build landscaping firms. It develops and maintains programs for thousands of member firms in the areas of business management, technical assistance, safety and insurance, education, and inter-industry relations with other facets of the green industry.

SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association)

SIMA is a nonprofit trade organization ensuring professionalism and safer communities by helping those who manage snow and ice master essential skills and practices. Our involvement with SIMA helps to ensure our commercial snow removal clients have clear, safe parking lots and walkways.

Thanks again for visiting us. You can contact us several ways. I look forward to speaking with you personally.
